Slide in your DVD into your DVD drive, open a DVD video converter application, in this example we are using iSkysoft Media Converter, which you can download from http://www.iskysoft.com/imedia-converter-mac.html. Or alternatively you can use Handbrake to convert your DVD into a MP4 H264 video file to upload to your iPad.
Click on file from the menu bar, and select “Load DVD”.
Select the DVD files and click on “Open” to add the DVD video files to the application.
When your DVD files have been loaded into the application, click on the film icon to the very right of the blue highlighted background. This will allow you to select the format to save your video file as.
A modal will appear, change the output file name to a more suitable name, for example - Team A v Team B. Below you see a drop down box for the format. Click on this to product a popover with a list of supported formats. Select Common Video --> MP4 h.264 video configure.
The above screen is how your settings will look like after selecting MP4 h.264. To confirm the selection of the video format, select on the “Done” button to continue. Next step to simply click on the “Convert” button to begin the conversion of your video.
When your conversion of your video takes place, the application will show you a progress bar and approx. time to complete the conversion.
Next step is to add the video file to your iPad. Connect your iPad through the white cable to your computer. Open up iTunes, and then select your iPad from the devices, and select Apps from the top main navigation in the main panel of the iTunes layout.
Scroll down to “File Sharing”, and select the Performa Sports app.
Click on the Add button, to bring up the file browser to select the video file you wish to add to the Performa Sports app. Then click on the “Open” button to start the file transfer.
When the video starts to transfer over to your iPad, you will see a progress bar.
When the transfer has been completed, you will see your video file has been successfully added to the Performa Sports documents folder on your iPad.
